I started my massage journey with Swedish massage training which is the western way and closely connected to para-medical aproaches with anatomy, physiology and pathology, so very physical. tantric massage was my introduction to Eastern ways, energy centres (Chakras) and the energy body. This has been life changing for me and opened me up in different ways. This is actually now an element in all my massages, not just those called tantric. This energetic connection is a two way thing and will be experienced in different ways by clients but one recently described the difference as emotional connecton and not just physical. It was the start of an unfolding journey for me.
